L. Gerry Whitworth
A native Georgian, growing up in Toccoa Georgia. Gerry attended the University of Georgia where he received his BBA in real Estate in 1971. Gerry began his career in Atlanta, GA and in 1974 returned to Athens, GA to work and raise his family. Since being in Athens, he has focused on the land business (commercial, industrial & development tracts). During his career, he has been a contributing member of the Athens Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Realtors Land Institute State President) and numerous other realtor organizations. Gerry takes pride in keeping up to date with the North East Georgia area market, conditions and opportunities. Richard Grant Whitworth
Born and raised in Athens, Ga. Grant grew up in the real estate business working for his father from a young age. He graduated from UGA Terry College of Business with a BBA in Finance in 2001. After college Grant moved to Atlanta where he became Vice President of The Robert S. Jordan Company, a commercial real estate brokerage firm that specializes in land brokerage. Grant has acted as both buyer and sellers broker for transactions ranging from small commercial tracts to thousand plus acre properties for residential development and recreational/timber users. Grant has experience working on deals in all aspects of real estate including multifamily, retail, industrial, office and residential developments. In 2008, Grant returned to Athens to partner up with his father at Whitworth Land Corporation. He is part owner of WLC, where he and his father focus on commercial real estate throughout the North East Georgia area. Grant is also owner of Athena Real Estate Group which specializes in residential properties. He is a member of the Athens Area Board of Realtors, and a member of their Circle of Honor.
